RYAN, Leta Janie (nee Mercer) - (1928 - 2021) - Formerly of Scarborough, Ontario. Passed away peacefully at Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, Alberta on Friday, April 16, 2021 from lung cancer.
Wife of Stephen Joseph Ryan (predeceased 1997).
Mother of Mary (predeceased 2008). Survived by her children Michael, Patrick (Debbie), Gail (John) and son-in-law Alastair McCluskey, her grandchildren Matthew (Stephanie), Adam (Kristen), Jennifer (Joel), Ryan (Kelly), Michael Jr. and Michelle (Neal), her great-grandchildren Jackson, Chloe, Tessa, Finley, Willem and Callum.
A private Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, April 24th at Taylor Funeral Home, Newmarket, Ontario, followed by an interment at St. John Cemetery, 250 Main St. N. Newmarket. Due to the current Covid restrictions, a maximum of 10 persons will be allowed to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
