CZERKAS, John Anthony - It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of John on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 after a short battle with glioblastoma, brain cancer.
John was born in Ludwigsburg, Germany. He is predeceased by his polish parents Aleksander and Janina (nee Slowinska).
He is survived by his dedicated wife Lou Ann, his only daughter Laura-Lea, brothers and sisters Stan (Bev) Krys (Cliff), Miro (Connie) Steve (deceased), Ray(Sue), Eddie(Mimi) Henry(Joanne), Suzy (Dave), Cindy.
John had a special relationship with his many nieces and nephews and their children.
He was a self-taught master of his craft. He worked alongside his partners Victor, Mark and other long-time friends at Gemtec for the last 50+ years.
Despite his battle, John never lost his sense of humour.
Due to current restrictions a celebration of life will follow at a later date. Limited visitation will be held on April 24th & 25th. A private family service will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Glioblastoma would be appreciated.
