RENNICK, Barbara Elizabeth (nee GOMERY) - Quite suddenly, the day before her 94th birthday, Barbara Rennick passed away at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital.
A beloved teacher and school principal for many years, Barbara was also the author of the Unicorn series of readers.
On retirement, she kept a busy social life playing bridge, teaching rug hooking, enjoying the Oakville symphony and musical theatre, and travelling the globe.
Barbara was predeceased by husband Ross (1980), daughter Mary Lou (2019) and sister Judith (2020).
She leaves behind her brother John (Pierrette) and sister Carol (Tony Kay) as well as many nieces and nephews.
"Babba" will be sorely missed by her daughter Nancy (Charlie Fulton) and her grandchildren Steven, Susan, Marco, Laura and Kathleen, as well as 10 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has already taken place, with a memorial service to be held at later this year.
