Robertson WilliamROBERTSON, William Clyde   -  Passed away peacefully, on April 18, 2021, at his home, surrounded by family, in his 89th year. Clyde was the oldest of 3 sons of William James Robertson and Mary Evva Grout.

He was predeceased by his brother Bruce and is survived by his brother Ross.

Clyde was the loving husband of Mary Louise Peart for 64 years and the father of 6 children, Timothy (Beth) who passed away in 2016 after a long battle with ALS, Mark (Dawn), Paul, Patrick (Michelle), Joanne (Jim) and Christian (Nyla).

He is survived by 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

As youngsters, his sons Paul and Pat would often caddie for him. Clyde had a great passion for travel.

He and Mary Lou, sometimes accompanied by friends, travelled extensively throughout Europe and had a fondness for cruising.

The yearly family trips to Florida were a highlight for all the Robertson kids.

He was a great father, grandfather, father-in-law, son, and brother – he was a great man.

We love him and will miss him.

In lieu of flowers, donations to ALS Canada would be greatly appreciated.
