MYSZAKOWSKI, Chester   - April 1, 1935 - April 17, 2021

It is with the saddest of hearts that we regretfully announce the passing of The Last Man Standing, Chester #1, Chairman of the Board, a Favourite to Many, Chester Myszakowski.

He died peacefully, after a short but hard-fought and courageous battle with cancer.

He passed surrounded by his loving family, who never left his side.

Truly beloved husband to his "Beautiful" wife Nell for 55 years, 8 months and 21 days.

Deeply loved Father, Dad, and Tata to Debbie, Steve and Lyn (his second daughter).

Most loving Dziadziu, to the love of his life, his Grandson Joshua.

Predeceased by his cherished Parents Stanislaw and Franciszka and beloved Brothers John and Mark Myszakowski. Chester was loved and will be deeply missed by a huge family of cousins, nieces and nephews throughout Canada the United States and Argentina, numerous friends from every walk of life and many "adopted" children.

Chester was one of the last of his generation of pioneers to arrive in Canada after World War II, at the age of 15.

He survived a heartbreaking childhood in a labour camp, surviving a heart attack at the tender age of 7 years old. This never deterred his will to live, his strength or his courage. Because of his hard work and perseverance, he created a beautiful life for his children along with Nell by his side, always making his whole encompassing family a priority his entire life. A True Hero.

Chester was a man who will not be soon forgotten by anyone who knew him. A gentleman, a class act, generous to a fault, kind and most of all hilarious. We love you with our whole hearts and we will forever miss you every moment until we meet again our Chestnuts.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral has already taken place but a Celebration of Chester's Life will be held when it is permitted.

In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe account has been created for Joshua, as per his Dziadziu's wishes. GoFundMe Link: gf.me/u/zquv3z.
