Daring DesmondDARING, Desmond Harrison - Passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021.

Born in Clarendon, Jamaica on December 30, 1941, was the sixth of fifteen children born to Cornel and Adrian Daring.

A printer by trade, he migrated to Canada in 1970 where he married Kathleen, his wife of 50 years.

Together they raised 4 boys and were blessed with 7 grandchildren that they were very proud of. Desmond touched the lives of many and brought masses of people closer to God.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen, sons Desmond Jr, Chris, Troy, Omeil, Jonathan, grandchildren Troy Jr, Estasia, Marshall, Xavier, Shakinah, Christopher, Kalina, and siblings Winston, Elaine, and Esther.

Desmond was the pilar of strength and an incredible role model representing what a husband, father, uncle, grandfather, family man, and most of all, a man of God should be. He will not only be missed by his family and relatives, but by everyone that knew him as Mr Desmond, Uncle Des, Brother Des, Papa, Brother Daring, Pastor, Elder, or Desmond throughout his large church family.

We thank him for blessing us all and showing us how to love people and God. You will never be forgotten and we all proud and take comfort in knowing that you're now able to be with the Lord in paradise.

Luke 23:43 - “I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.” - April 16, 2021.

Thank you Dad/Papa/Uncle Des/Bro Des. We love you.

There will be a visitation on Friday, Aptril 30, 2021. The service will take place at the Prayer Palace on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 1:00pm. This is a private family event with a maximum of 10 people in attendance.
