Lintott PatrickLINTOTT, F. Patrick - February 9, 1931 – April 30, 2021 - Patrick passed away peacefully at the Heritage Nursing Home in Toronto on April 30, 2021.

Much loved and loving husband of Marilyn (Stonehouse) for more than 35 years.

He was the proud and loving father of Stephen (Michelle), Wendy (Gord Locke), David, and Ian (Patricia Marsh); proud and loving grandfather of Ryan (Hana), Ashley (Becca), Brendan, Hanna and Kaylen.

He was loved by the Hodgson family, Debbie, John and Jonathan and the Hashmani family, Emily, Saff, Talia and Remy.

He is survived by his sister, Shirley Goodfellow.

Born in Chiddingfold, England, Patrick came to Canada in 1948, landing in Montreal before settling in Toronto.  After exploring positions in the insurance and banking industries, he spent several years at Maclean Hunter.  He joined Time Magazine in 1966, where he had a long and rewarding career (in Toronto, Montreal and Singapore), before enjoying a very active and happy retirement.

He was an avid cyclist, downhill and cross-country skier, tennis player, hiker, traveler, music lover, theatre and movie goer, reader, gardener, poodle (and cat!) lover, and Leaside resident. His was a life well lived and loved!

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the Heritage Nursing Home for their excellent care over the last two plus years. And we are so grateful to our Marichu for the wonderful care and loving attention she has always given to Patrick.

Due to covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, if you wish to make a donation in Patrick’s memory, please consider: Parkinson Canada  (Parkinson.ca) or Nature Conservancy Canada (natureconservancy.ca).
