PETERKIN, Yvonne Joyce - Yvonne Joyce Peterkin, 71, of Scarborough, Ontario passed away peacefully at 5:15 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2021, at Scarborough General Hospital.
Yvonne was born in Vaughsfield, St. James, Jamaica on February 21, 1950. She worked for 35 years at the Salvation Army as a Substance Abuse Counselor.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking, and hanging with her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Reynold & Enid Peterkin, Wellesley, Glenn, Deloris, and Cecil Peterkin.
She is survived by her children Sophia Bailey, Reynold Douglas & Wayde Salmon.
Grandchildren: Jamaal, Jonelle, Jevaughn, Jada, Jayde, Jayden, Rylei, Jaxon & Jailyn. Great-grandchildren; TJ, Sereyah, Serenity, Caroline, and Hazel.
Sisters:Gloria, Lorna, Faye, Pats, & Winsome. Brothers: Peter, Neil & Vincent And numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
