BURNS, Robert Alfred - Robert Alfred Burns, age 88, passed away peacefully in Etobicoke on May 7, 2021.
Bob was born December 11, 1932 in Pointe St. Charles, Quebec to John and Jane Burns.
Bob married the love of his life, Jane Doreen Hayes May 28, 1965 and moved to Toronto with his wife and children in 1971.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Jane and his children Rob (Stephanie), Trish (George) Steve (Liz) and grandchildren Joe, Bella, Cassie, Liam, Hailey and Jake.
Bob was predeceased by his loving parents John and Jane, his brothers John, Jim, Terry and Tom and his sisters Agnes, Maureen, Kathleen and is survived by his loving sisters Betty (Sister Jane Frances), Sheila and Roseanne and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Bob loved his wife, children and grandchildren with a great love, was proud of each and every one of them and could be seen at every sporting event, family gathering and milestone with a quip and a bad dad joke.
Due to Covid restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or The Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated. Swing easy Bob, enjoy the 19th hole!.
