Alexiou Nicolas NickALEXIOU, Nicolas 'Nick' - Nicolas (Nick) Alexiou, born June 15, 1928 in Armensko, Greece, passed away on May 17, 2021 after a short illness at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto.

Loving and much-loved father to Sophie, Eileen and Nickey (James Housego), Nick led a long and eventful life thanks to his curiosity, his tenacity and his incredible spirit.

Predeceased by his wife Eleny, his brother Angelo and his parents George and Maria, his love and memory of them never wavered.

The friends and community he gathered over the years is large: from his first job to his last, from every trip he took or coffee shop he frequented, Nick made friends everywhere. In his last years he especially took pleasure in meeting his friends to discuss the issues of the day and those from the past and he was often characterized as the “professor” because of his deep knowledge of the people and events in Armensko.

His newest friends were at Shepherd Village Terrace where he was so warmly welcomed. Many thanks to Noreen and all of the team there whose care and kindness gave him a new home.

A small private service will be held for family at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Shepherd Village. https://shepherdvillage.org/donate/
