SPEK, Elisabeth 'Beppie' (nee van Hove) - It is with great sadness that we announce of the passing of Elisabeth “Beppie” Spek at her home on 17 May, 2021 at the age of 89.
Born in Leiden, The Netherlands, Elisabeth arrived in Canada with Nicolaas, her beloved husband of 67 years, in May 1954.
Cherished mother to Alice Jane and Nicolaas Jr (Maha) and grandmother to Eric, Tatiana, and Jason (Mykenna).
Elisabeth was predeceased by her parents Johannes Peter and Clasina van Hove, and her sisters Gonnie and Rie.
A private viewing will be held at Ward’s Funeral Home and she will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.
