Porter Mary FrancesPORTER, Mary-Frances (nee KENNEDY)   - July 4, 1939 - May 14, 2021

Mary-Fran passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones, after a long battle with cancer.

She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Toronto East General Hospital in 1960.

The following year, she married the love of her life, Jim, with whom she recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Together they raised 4 children: Joe, John, Danielle, and Suzanne, and 11 grandchildren: Jason, Jordan, Joshua, Stephanie, Matthew, Zachary, James, Paige, Noah, Luke, and Alex. Mary-Fran is remembered as a caring wife, mother, and friend who was always at her best when others needed her.

She enjoyed family dinners and many happy outings with the "Creekwood ladies."

Very special thanks to her longtime friend, Patricia Collins (nee Ford), for her love and support in Mary-Fran's final days, and the excellent care of the doctors, nurses, and caregivers at Stronach Regional Cancer Centre and Central LHIN.

A Celebration of her Life will take place at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
