Booth DougBOOTH, Douglas William - On Friday, May 21st, 2021, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at the age of 65. Douglas battled cancer multiple times.

He peacefully succumbed to the fight at Scarborough General Hospital.

Douglas was born on October 25th, 1955. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Debi.

Doug was preceded in death by his father Bill, mother Lorraine and dear brother Rob.

Cherished father of Jordyn, Cassandra (Andrew) and Shane (Amanda).

Adored grandfather of Lincoln and Gideon. Survived by his sister Kathy (Grant) and sister-in-law Beth.

Caring brother-in-law of Lois and Gregg, Bill and Tracey. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

He spent most of his professional life as a manufacturing supervisor. He was truly in his element at the family cottage on Belmont Lake. Joy and happiness radiated as he fished and spent time with friends and loved ones.

Even though he was never the loudest person in the room his presence was always felt, built comfort and made you feel at ease. He emanated strength and courage as he went through life. Doug’s caring and kind nature made everyone feel welcome. He was a special person who will be deeply missed.

Although this is a devastating loss, we find comfort in knowing that he is at peace and no longer suffering.

If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
