HAMPTON, William 'Ted' Edward - Was born to Myra and Herbert Hampton at Brantford, and grew up at Hazelbrook Farm on the Grand River. There he cultivated his love of nature from an early age.
Over the years, he sang as soloist and choir member of many church and community choirs. He also played trumpet and euphonium in various community bands.
During his working career, he was employed with IBM Canada Ltd. for 38 years. In retirement, he supported and volunteered for several charitable organizations.
He leaves to mourn: his wife, Susan; son, David (Delaine); daughter, Juanita (Daniel); grandchildren, Katie, Amy, William, Matthew, Christopher and Amber, and 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Keith (DeeDee); brother-in-law, Larry (Betty) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ted was predeceased by his son, Ronnie; grandson, David; former wife, Marion; and sister, Carol.
