HUNTER, Gladys (nee ARMITSTEAD) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys Hunter (nee Armitstead) at the age of 93 on Wednesday, May 19 2021.
Predeceased by her husband, Bill Hunter, brother Thomas Armitstead and sister Evelyn Walwork.
Gladys leaves behind son Jim Hunter (Linda), grandchildren Jennifer and Michael (Megan) and great-grandchildren Bronwyn and Rhys as well as sister Francis Johns and sister-in-law June Armitstead.
Gladys lived a full life and up until the last few years, lived happily and independently at her home in Brampton.
Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.
The family wish to thank the staff at Extendicare Georgetown for their support and kindness during her short stay in their care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
