COMPAGNONE, Dora Mary (nee Campagna) - Born July 22, 1938. On May 31st, 2021, Dora passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 82 after a third fight with cancer.
Dora was born in Schreiber, Ontario. She is predeceased by her loving husband Antonio Compagnone of 52 years. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and loved making delicious food for her children and grandchildren.
Dora will be greatly missed by her sons, Alexander and Aldo Compagnone, her daughters in-law, Julie Ann and Donna, her brothers Dino (Helen) and Peter (Natalie).
Dora was a loving grandmother to all her grandchildren, John-Paul (Elana), Vanessa, Stefano, Jordana (Michael) and Anthony (Nicole) Compagnone.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care. Donations can be made at www.tlcpc.org or cheques can be made payable to Sinai Health Foundation referencing Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will not be any viewing service and the funeral will only be open to the immediate family. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday June 3rd at Ward Funeral Home, (4671 Hwy #7), with Entombment to follow at Beechwood Mausoleum Cemetery (7241 Jane St.)
Arrangements and livestream of the funeral service are entrusted with Ward funeral homes.
