COWLING, Grace Kathleen (nee IRELAND) - Passed peacefully, at McNally House, on June 1, 2021, Grimsby, Grace Cowling, Artist, was 92 years of age.
Wife of Gordon Cowling (deceased), mother of Gail Cowling (Mark Schweitzer), sister of Jean Brown (deceased) and Ross Ireland.
She was elected CSPWC (Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour), and was granted signature memberships in watercolour societies in both Canada and the USA.
She received numerous awards from juried shows. Her work is held in private and corporate collections in Canada and abroad.
Thanks to Lincoln Park Retirement Residence for five years of support and care. Special thanks to Dr. Denise Marshall and the wonderful staff and volunteers at McNally House for outstanding care and compassion during her final months.
Cremation has taken place. Interment in St. Andrew's Anglican churchyard next to her husband will take place privately.
