Pudsey DouglasPUDSEY, Douglas George Pudsey (Doug)  - Of Burlington, Ontario, passed away quietly in his sleep the morning of May 31, 2021, at the Joseph Brant Hospital.

Doug was 87 years of age and he and his wife Elizabeth (Liz) would have celebrated 65 years of marriage on June 23, 2021.

Together, they raised four sons – David (Jackie), Bruce (Grace), Stephen (Heather), Kevin (CJ) and lived in Toronto, Brampton, Sept-Iles, QC, before making their home in Burlington for the past 51 years.

Doug will be greatly missed by his 13 grandchildren, (Jennifer, Katharine, Bryan, Alison, Cameron, Jared, James, Zachary, Lucas, William, Damian, Cole and Brea), and his 7 great-grandchildren (Olivia, Brooklyn, Isabelle, Reid, Celeste, Sofia and Hunter).

Born and raised in Toronto, Doug was predeceased by his parents, Frank Fawcett Pudsey and Jean Doyle as well as his older brother Ronald "Uncle Ron" Pudsey (Isabelle) of Scarborough.

Doug was a favourite uncle to his nieces, Christine (Jim) and Janet (John) and their families.

With his granddaughters, he humorously entertained the girls with dolls and was even adventurous enough in his 80's to jump in the bouncy castle with the children.

Due to current restrictions, a private viewing was held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 in Burlington, with plans for a Celebration of Life to take place when restrictions are relaxed later in the summer.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society in Doug's name.
