ADAMS, Ruth - On Friday, June 11, 2021 - 1 Tammuz 5781, one week after her special 71st wedding anniversary celebration, Ruth Adams passed away peacefully with her loving and dedicated family by her side.
Ruth was born in Toronto, Ontario on December 30th, 1927 and married her beloved husband Morris Adams on June 4, 1950.
Loving sister of Howard and Noreen Wernick, Shirley Finewax and Betty Weinberg z'l.
oving mother of Stephen (Michele), Lawrence and Carolyn.
Devoted Bubby of Arielle, Zev, Danya and Orly, and Joanna, Corinne and Tyler.
Ruth was a proud and active member of the Sisterhood Board of the Adath Israel Congregation. She was our gregarious singer, performer, and joke-teller - our "sunshine" who brightened up a room with her presence. Her family and grandchildren were her pride and joy.
A special thanks to the amazing and compassionate staff and nurses of the Sunnybrook Palliative Care Unit and past caregivers Marilyn and Anu for whom we are all so grateful.
A Family graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
