LEATHEM, Susan (nee O'BRIEN) - Passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 72, on June 22, 2021 with her loving husband by her side.
She will forever be remembered as the cherished daughter of the late Hazel and Patrick O'Brien.
Beloved wife of Trevor for 15 years.
Devoted step-mother of Alistair (Neisma) and Graeme (Lindsay).
Loving step-grandmother of Liam, Alejandro, Adrian, Madeleine, Riley and Briseis.
She will also be dearly missed by many friends and family members. Susan's family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Dr. Lynne Benjamin and the Palliative Care Team at the Mississauga Halton Health Integration Network, and the staff at Ian Anderson House for their devotion and exceptional care.
Also, a heartfelt 'thank you' to all the friends and family that supported us during this long and courageous battle with cancer.
A private funeral service will be held for Susan.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's memory can be made to Doctors Without Borders Canada.
