HORLOCK, Peter Tom - August 21, 1926 – August 10, 2021
After an amazing life, Peter passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 94 years young.
Beloved husband of the late Hazel.
Adored father of Hilary.
Dear brother of Kevin and brother-in-law of Sheila.
A passionate community volunteer and lifelong learner, Peter embraced every challenge. His zest for life, good humour and sense of adventure never left him.
A WWII veteran and Professional Engineer, Peter's sense of fun was topped only by his love of a good spread sheet.
A founding member of the Windsor Sports Car Club, the birth of his daughter forced him to make a lifestyle change from his beloved Austin Healey, for which he eventually forgave her.
He replaced sports cars with golf and photography.
He was enormously proud of his contributions to the Canadian Institute of Management, volunteer work with the Credit Valley Hospital and workshop facilitation with Maximize Your Health.
A Private virtual service will be held.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
