GIRIMONTE, Vincenza - With sadness, we announce the passing of Vincenza on August 14, 2021 at the age of 86.
She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Francesco (2001) and daughter Gemma (2020).
She will lovingly be remembered for her larger than life personality and her passionate love of family.
It gave her great pleasure to host gatherings, cook and bring people together. She was a trusted counsellor and confidant to many, always there to lend an ear or hand and to give great advice.
She will forever be missed by her daughter Maria, son-in-laws Sam Bruno and Joe Cilurzo and grandaugther Rose (JohnPaul Micieli). One of ten children, she is survived by her sisters AnnaMaria and Josephine and will be in the hearts of her many brothers-in-law, sisters-in- law, nieces, nephews and their families.
Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Thursday, August 19, 2021. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Bernard de Clairvaux Church (1789 Lawrence Ave. W., east of Jane St.) on Friday, August 20, 2021 (time to be confirmed). Entombment will follow.
In memory of Vincenza, flowers and donations are welcomed; with donations being requested to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
