Maglieri Michele MikeMAGLIERI, Michele 'Mike' - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Michele on Monday August 16, 2021 at the age of 86 years. Michele passed peacefully while he was surrounded by his loving family.

Michele is now reunited in heaven with his dear parents Margherita and Cristino Maglieri.

He was the beloved husband of Santina (Tina). Cherished father of Margherita Maglieri and her husband Noel A. Nolasco DaSilva and Christian and his wife Cristina Bertoia Maglieri. Mike was the devoted Nonno of Matteo, Mauro and Lia.

Mike was truly a remarkable man with many passions and interests. His top priority always being his family. He would worry about his children and grandchildren endlessly. He has an avid member of the Exceptional Nonno Society of Canada, where all grandchildren are adored loved and spoiled. Mike loved his garden and would often be found outside tending to it. He was well known for his homemade pasta and wine.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all their family and friends for the outpouring of concern and love throughout this past year. A special thanks to Dr. Humaira Saeed of William Osler Palliative Care Clinic, Nurses Laura and Humaira and PSW’s Arleen and Janet for their care and compassion.

Mike will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family, friends and all who knew him.

Arrangements and livestream funeral details are entrusted with Scott Funeral Home “Brampton” Chapel. In consideration of the vulnerable, the family requests that only family and friends that are fully vaccinated attend at the visitation or funeral service.

In keeping with Mike’s wishes Private Cremation to take place. Mike’s ashes will be laid to rest at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Mike to the Hospital for Sick Children or the Toronto General Hospital Cardiac Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family.
