CARNOVALE, Michele - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
He is survived by his loving wife Maria of 56 years, sister-in-laws Caterina (US), Maria, Caterina and brother-in-law Marco as well as numerous generations of nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S. & Italy.
He has joined his brothers and sisters in the gardens of heaven: Antonio, Rosario, Isabella, Nino, Giuseppe, Rosa and Vincenzo.
He immigrated to Canada from Piscopio, Italy in 1954. He worked at Ford Canada for 30 years. He was an avid gardener, a wine connoisseur and enjoyed playing cards. Especially scoppa with friends and family.
Michele filled our hearts with joy and laughter and will be sadly missed by friends and family.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Sunday August 22nd. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michele may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
