THOMSON, Phyllis Muriel (nee MOWBRAY)   -  Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at the Woodstock General Hospital, in her 89th year.

Devoted wife of the late Dr. John Douglas Thomson (2016).

Beloved mother of Christopher (Nancy) Thomson, Jeffrey Thomson, Janet Thomson, Cameron Thomson, and Ian Thomson.

Cherished grandmother of Samuel Thomson, Joseph (Kayla) Thomson, Aaron Thomson, Tawnya Thomson, and Brandon Thomson.

Predeceased by her dear siblings Jean Fountain and Milton (Gwen) Mowbray and her parents Ralph and Janet Mowbray. Phyllis loved to sew, read, knit, decorate, and was very artistic.

Her dedication to her friends and community was evident in the numerous clubs and associations she was a part of: the G.R. Green I.O.D.E. Chapter, the Woodstock YMCA, Woodstock Swim Club, Woodstock Rowing Club, and the Ontario Rowing Association.

Even though Phyllis was a very active member of these associations, she always managed to put the importance of family above everything else.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

If desired, memorial contributions to The Hospital for Sick Children – Toronto (Sick Kids), would be appreciated.
