ELLIOTT, Jessie Patricia (nee PATERSON) - On Sunday, August 15, 2021, our hearts were broken with the passing of our cherished Mum and Wawa at the age of 86 after a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born in Vancouver and graduated from Vancouver General Hospital as a Registered Nurse.
She had a long nursing career and spent the last twenty years of it practicing industrial nursing at the Ford Motor Company in Oakville, ON.
She is survived by her beloved sister Diane (Don), five children John (Pam), Jamie (Kristine), Julia (Joe), Janet (Steve), Judy (Will) and ten grandchildren Matthew, Tyler, Brandon, Trevor, Mitchell, Wesley, Carson, Kayla, Taylor and Shelby.
Predeceased by her husband Frank Elliott, parents William and Grace Paterson, daughter Denise and infant son Jeffrey.
A private family goodbye will take place followed by cremation.
Her family will be taking her home to Vancouver, B.C. to rest in the near future.
Donations to the Flamborough Food Bank where she volunteered or Carpenter Hospice can be made in her memory and greatly appreciated by the family.
