Nazareth TonyNAZARETH, Tony - Passed away peacefully on August 28, 2021, at the age of 90, with family at his side.

While there was a rapid deterioration in his condition over the nearly two-week period that he spent in hospital, we were blessed that his children and grandchildren were able to visit with him and he was never without family at his side for the last twenty-four hours of his journey on this earth.

Tony was born in Kenya, East Africa, on November 24th, 1930, to Vincent Lionel and Lily Isabella Nazareth.

His wife Blanche passed away in 2007 after 52 years of marriage, and shortly after in 2008, his eldest daughter Avril lost her battle with pancreatic cancer.

He is pre-deceased by his brother Gerry, and sister Mina, but will be fondly remembered by his sister Amelia in Portugal. He is survived by his children; Vincent (Jovita), Stephanie (Hubert), Tony Jr, his grandchildren; Joanne (Quinton), Jeremy, Jonathan, Isabelle, Christi-Anne, and Jessica, and of course his two great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Noah. He will also be missed by his son in law, Byron.

Throughout his life Tony played an integral part in all the churches he belonged to from Kenya to Canada. His devout faith has made him the man we all knew as Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad, Uncle or simply Tony. He was a man who was known for his compassion and willingness to help anyone in need and his ability to be the “life of the party”.

Anyone who knew Tony, praised him for his talent of lighting up any room he entered. His faith has been a source of inspiration to many, and he will continue to be a light to those whom he has touched. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitaion will be held at Marshall Funeral Home, Richmomd Hill on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021. The service will take place at Our Lady Queen Of The World Church, 10411 Bayview Avenue, Richmomd Hill on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 at 10:00am.
