IACOBUCCI, Cosmo - Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 30, 2021.
Cosmo was one of 5 children to Giuseppe Iacobucci and Aurelia DiCiero.
A husband to Carmina for 61 years, a father to Aurelia and Mackie (Tony) and Nonno to his cherished “bellas” Sophia and Alanna.
Cosmo left his hometown in Italy in 1960 to begin a new life in Canada for his new bride and young daughter.
A family man and a proud Canadian who maintained his Italian culture.
He was a hard worker with a big character, who was always eager to share a story. Besides his family, he loved his cars, sweets and his homemade vino. Throughout his 84 years he enjoyed visiting family in Italy and Australia. In his retirement years he was an avid walker, handyman to his neighbours and took pride in caring for the family home and garden.
He will be deeply missed by his close friends and family.
Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough on September 2nd. The service will take place at St. Boniface Parish, 142 Markham Road, Toronto on September 3rd at 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
