Stuart LillianSTUART, Lillian Elizabeth - Passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

Lillian was born in Walkers Wood, Jamaica on December 15, 1945. The daughter of Clarence and Audrey Rose was the only girl among five brothers: Norval Rose, Robert Rose, Kenneth Rose, Gerald Rose (her twin brother) and Albert Rose.

At a young age, she would nurture and care for her brothers with sisterly and motherly love.

She immigrated to Canada in 1973 with the help of her brother Kenneth who moved here years prior.

She obtained a job at The Bay (formerly known as Simpsons). While working there she met a young man from Barbados named Maurice Stuart.

The two fell in love and married in 1977. They would have two children Nolan and Sabrina. Lillian has four grandchildren: Ethan Stuart, Taylor Stuart, Savannah Smith and Silas Smith. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who took exceptional care for her family.

She was a wonderful singer and loved to sing in the church choir. She dedicated herself to practice and annual performances with joy and reverence to God.

Lillian's love, wisdom, faith and strength are a testament to the life she lived and shared with others. Her beautiful smile, kindness and joyous laughter will never be forgotten.

We thank God for sharing her life with us and take comfort in knowing she is resting in eternal peace with the Lord.

Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Friday, September 3rd, 2021. The service will take place in the chapel on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at 1:00pm.
