ANASTASOPOULOS, Vasiliki - Passed away on September 23, 2021.
If there were an image of strength and love, it was my mother’s. George Anastasopoulos
Mom was the foundation for our family. Kept us strong, helped us grow and showed us the importance of what love and family really means.
There will never be anyone like her. Tony Anastasopoulos
Her strength, love and generosity knew no bounds. She was a warrior for her family; compassionate & fierce. She inspired those around her to endure through her example. She was welcoming to all with open arms, and embraced everyone who came into her life as if they were her own. Amy, Steffie and Kelly Anastasopoulos
As a young child herself she raised and helped all her siblings after her dad passed away a young man while her mother worked more than full-time to support the family in the aftermath of the Second World War’s devastation. She was a cornerstone, the glue in keeping the family together.
The meaning of “MANA” was to all of us with her loving ways and beautiful soulMANA was KOULA taking us all under her wing and keeping us together as whole Nia and Ilia Pantopicos
My fondest memories of visiting Thia Koula, was how she made us feel so welcome in her home. She always had the best snacks, elaborate meals on special occasions and always indulged us in our imaginative games when we were kids. She will be truly missed. Jenny Triantos
My Nouna was a strong and determined woman and very humerous. I am so saddened that she is gone. Debbie Anastasakos
Viewing will be on Sunday September 26th at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1 Brookhaven Drive, Toronto. Funeral services 10AM Monday 27th same location.
