FARAGO, Klara - On September 27, 2021 peacefully at the age of 89 with her family by her side.
Klara was the beloved wife for 58 years of Bertalan (deceased).
Loving mother of Susan (Martin Sheps, deceased) and Michael (Sheldon Rajesky).
Devoted and proud grandmother of David.
Dear sister of the late Laszlo and Chaim (Rina).
She will be deeply missed by her brother Shmuel (Ahuva), her many nieces and nephews, and friends who have known her for many years.
Klara was born in Hungary where she survived the Holocaust in the Budapest ghetto with her mother. She married in 1951 and trained as a teacher. She and Bert escaped to Austria following the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.
They settled in England where Susan was born and then the family moved in 1966 to live in Canada. Klara enjoyed many years with Bert raising their family, working with him in his consulting business, and travelling the world together.
A family graveside service will be held on Friday October 1, 2021. Family Shiva.
