BAILEY, Isabel Anne (nee LYNN) - July 3, 1932 - September 25, 2021
It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of Isabel Anne Bailey on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband of 62 years, Arnold Tate Bailey; her daughters April Cooper and Lisanne (Danny) Gavigan; her grandsons, Timothy and Benjamin Cooper; her sister Joan Hird; and her nieces and nephews and many friends.
Anne attended Oakwood Collegiate and after Normal School became a Kindergarten teacher for 25 years teaching in Toronto/ Etobicoke at Givins, Dewson Street, Green Meadows and Valleyfield Public Schools.
She participated in Young Peoples Group and Doers at St. Clair United Church.
She was a member of Westway United Church where she belonged to the United Church Women, Beaver Bible Class, and volunteered hours on many committees.
She was also a member of the Etobicoke Quilting Guild.
She enjoyed many summers at the cottage in Wasaga Beach with family and friends.
She loved to play the piano, read, do puzzles, play bridge, sing in choirs, and dance with Arn.
Many thanks to the nurses, PSWs and Dr. V at Wesburn Manor for their excellent care of Anne.
Donations in her name to any charity that helps children would be greatly appreciated.
A private funeral has taken place.
