Garcia Pilar de JesusGARCIA, Pilar De Jesus - At the age of 86, Pilar Garcia passed away peacefully with her children by her side on October 20, 2021.

Sadly we say goodbye to the matriarch of the Garcia family.

She was a loving wife to Jesus Garcia for 29 years until his passing in 1982; cherished mother of Priscilla, Pilarita, Javier, Juan, Patricia, Princesita, Purification and Jinx.

She was the adored grandmother of Michelle, Michael, Melvin, Kelly (deceased), Donna C., Leif, Sheryll Anne, Sandra, Yasmin, Katrina, Nikka, Aiver, Keil, Marijohn, Nicole, Joie, Donna G., Erin, Kai, Kaitlin and Emma; and loving sister to Valentina, and her deceased siblings Ricardo, Maria, Gonzalo and Angel.

Her life was dedicated to the care and nurturing of her children, having had to raise them on her own for 39 years. She will always be remembered for her amazing cooking skills, her constant need to feed everyone that came to her home, and her love of her homeland and her family.

The Garcia family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to family and friends who visited her at Credit Valley Hospital, and to those who kept her in their thoughts and prayers.

Arrangements are entrusted with Scott funeral home, Mississauga chapel. Preparations are being made for her repatriation to Pampanga, Philippines.

“We would like to thank you all for thinking of our Mother and family at this difficult time. For those who are considering condolence flowers the family would like to request a financial donation in its place. Our Mothers final wish was to be laid to rest back home in the Philippines and your donation would greatly support her journey.”
