MEYER, Horst - January 11, 1933 - November 7, 2021
Beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
He leaves his wife Margaret, daughter Christine, and treasured family and friends who filled his life with joy. Predeceased by his parents, brothers, best friends and son-in-law.
Horst was a self described adventure man who fled East Germany in his youth and settled in Toronto where he met his wife of 56 years.
He worked most recently at Goodyear and Cadillac Fairview before moving near Bracebridge for the first years of a long retirement.
Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and support staff for their care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Dorothy Ley Hospice or a charity of your choice.
An in person/virtual Celebration of Life will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Simple Alternative Funeral Centre in Mississauga.
