KIRKPATRICK, Mary Elizabeth - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Kirkpatrick in Bramalea/Brampton, Ontario. Mary died peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
She was born to Gavin Stott and Margaret R. McPherson Stott on March 16th, 1929 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Immigrated to Canada in 1954.
Beloved wife of the late James Kirkpatrick (2012), cherished mother to Lynn (Tom), and loving and proud grandmother to Lindsay. Loving sister to Jean Stott McNally (deceased).
Mary’s memory will be held in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, relatives here in Canada, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and the United States. Mary worked in Leasing and Finance with Ferranti-Packard and then Airport Chevrolet for over 40 years. After retirement, Florida became her Winter home where Mary and Jim had many years enjoying the sunshine with old friends and new ones made.
Mary was a devoted friend to many and a dedicated caregiver to some. She loved her Charity work through the Lioness Organization. She loved hard and was loved.
Arrangements entrusted with Andrews funeral home, Brampton. A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
