Smith PhyllisSMITH, Phyllis  -  It is with profound sorrow that we say goodbye to our beloved sister, mother, and grandmother Phyllis Smith, K.C, who passed away at the age of 76 after a long battle with cancer, while attended by friends and family on March 15, 2024.

As a practising lawyer for more than forty years and possessing a list of accomplishments and honours too long to list here, she will be missed not just as a family member, but as a colleague, mentor, and friend by those who had the privilege of working with her.

The memory of Phyllis will be cherished by all who knew her, and her warmth, humour, and generosity will not be forgotten.

She is survived by her sister, Kathryn (Ken), and brother-in-spirit Danny; children, Morgan, Meredith, and Michael; and grandchildren, Madden and Kylo.

She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick; and parents, Fredrick and Anne. Phyllis will be cremated in a private ceremony.

A public Celebration of Life for Phyllis will be held in Edmonton, Alberta, at a later date (details will be posted at www.emeryjamieson.com).

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Hope Mission in Phyllis's name.
