FRANKLIN, David, Thomas, Malcom - David (Dave) was born in North Bay, Ontario March 31 1936, and died on November 21, 2017 at Scarborough General Hospital.
Beloved husband of Isobel for over 55 years, loving father of Gary and his wife Judy, and Lisa and her husband Victor, dear "Papa" to his granddaughters Kristina, Brooke, and Jenna.
He will always be fondly remembered by his brother Roger and wife Carol, their four children, and his extended family in Northern Ireland.
Dave grew in Richmond Hill and West Hill, graduating from Danforth Tech. David was a successful business man in the lithographic industry with his business partner Ken Tuckey.
Dave was well known as a passionate and talented artist his entire life with memberships in various art clubs. Dave enjoyed many sports with memberships including golf and boating at CBYC.
However, his true passion was his family, enjoying many family vacations throughout the years, most recently in Naples Florida, and Northern Ireland.
David was a kind and caring person who will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

A visitation for David will be held Friday, November 24, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. A Celebration of Life Service will occur Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Holy Trinity, 85 Livingston Rd, Scarborough followed by burial at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Scarborough.
