VANDERKOLFF, William Frederick - December 16, 1928 – March 16, 2018
Passed away suddenly in his 90th year at Mackenzie Health Centre.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen (nee Scheffer).
Brother to Carl (Anne) and predeceased by his 3 other brothers Anthony (Margaret), John (Madeline) and Peter (Louise).
He lovingly leaves his children Helen (Ken), Diana (Roy), Yvonne (Paul) and Paul (Lisa).
Greatly missed by his grandchildren Chantelle, Nicholas, Vanessa, Rebecca, Keelia, Sarah and Adam and his great-grandchildren Ryker and Willow.
Bill immigrated from Holland to Canada, in 1951. Bill was a quick learner who became a successful insurance broker and eventually built his own brokerage Vanderkolff Insurance. He was a loving husband and dedicated father.
We wish to recognize the great care provided by the staff at Amica Retirement home in Newmarket, where Bill enjoyed his last years with companion and friend, Andre Wray.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Taylor Funeral Home, Newmarket, on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. A Service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
