WALKER, Jim  - (Sensei Jim Walker 6th Dan Judo Instructor)  Retired General Motors Employee

Passed peacefully on June 17, 2020, at Bon Air Long Term Care Residence in his 88th year.

Jim, beloved husband of the late Lois Walker. Cherished father of Laura (Howard) Shurtliffe and Linda (Chris) Plummer.

Loving grandpa of of Ian, Kalleigh (Paul), Ken (Sam), Liam and great grandpa of Zak and Scarlett. Dear brother of Mary Gallagher and the late Dick and Bert Walker.

Jim will be sadly missed by his close friends Pat & Ian, and his judo family Enzo, Aartje, Tammy, Suzi and Neil and all who knew him.

Jim was a proud member of Judo Ontario and Judo Canada, a pilot with EAA Oshawa of the Oshawa Airport, a master athlete in target shooting where he earned a bronze medal at the Senior Games held in Australia. He also raced boats for Mercury Motors.

Due to current COVID-19 conditions, a Celebration of Life will be held when it is safe to do so.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Autisum Society would be appreciated by the family.
