WILLIAMS, Allan Geen - (September 6, 1925 - March 17, 2021)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Alan Geen Williams in his 96th year on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Markham Stouffville Hospital.

Born in Treforest, Wales on September 6, 1925, he was the beloved husband of the late Peggy (nee Smith) for nearly 69 years.

Loving father of Alison, Trevor (Linda) and Andrew (Judi). Cherished grandfather of Tammie, Tiffany, Meghan, Michael (Cinthia), Rebecca (Mark) and Emily (Joey). Treasured great grandfather of Kayla, Jediah and Conor.

Alan retired from a successful and fulfilling career in real estate appraisal as a partner at Stewart, Young and Mason, in Toronto.

He was an active member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors, Association of Ontario Land Economists, the Masonic Lodge and Canadian Legion and still found time to serve a term as scout master for the 6th Bendale Troop.

After retirement Alan was active in the Uxbridge community participating in local theatre productions and singing in various choirs, notably the Amadeus Choir of Greater Toronto. His talent for signing and playing the piano was enjoyed by the family and the residents of Butternut Manor for many years.

Due to the recent restrictions, a service will not be held.

If desired, a donation in Alan's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
