ZAMBITO, Rosario - God called Rosario peacefully on July 13, 2019 at the age of 92 surrounded by his loving family at his side.
He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Francesca.
Cherished by his dear children, Leonarda (Leonardo Piazza) and Mary (Joseph Piazza).
Proud Nonno to the late Vincenza (Pietro Severino), Francesca Piazza, Giovanna (Marcello Aquilina), Maria (Robert Strk), Antonio Piazza (Carrie), Sarah (Peter Ward), Antonio Piazza (Michelle), Cynthia (Joseph Tusa) and Rosario (Christina).
Adoring great grandfather to Daniela, Isabella, Michael, Nicholas, Christopher, Daniel, Bianca, Tristan, Aidan, Matthew, Luca, Nicole, Henry and Dante Rosario.
Rosario will always be remembered by his brother Pietro (Giovanna). Rosario is predeceased by his brothers Vito, Andrea, Francesco and Giuseppe, and by his sisters Rosaria, Anna and Giuseppa.
He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 17, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jane Frances Roman Catholic Church (2747 Jane St., north of Sheppard Ave.). Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (on Jane St., south of Hwy 7).
