IANTORNO, Assunta - God called Assunta peacefully on Friday July 19, 2019 at the age of 81.
She will be forever missed by her loving husband, Salvatore.
Cherished by her dear children, Ralf (Nadia), Lina Iantorno (Shane Archdall) and Anna (Paolo Cancian).
Proud Nonna to Samantha, Justin, Sonia, Lucas, Cristian, Stefan and Adrian.
Assunta will always be remembered by her brothers Antonio (Giacomina), Paolo (Elise), and Cosimo (Teresa). Reunited in Heaven with her siblings Pasquale, Bruno, Vincenzo, Stella and Victoria.
She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. and Monday, July 22, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Ave., south of Langstaff Rd.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7).
If so desired, donations in memory of Assunta may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
