APLIDGIOTIS, Sotiris - Sadly passed away on Sunday January 26, 2020 at the age of 85 at Michael Garron Hospital.
Beloved husband of the late Veroni.
Cherished father of Spyros(Rosanna), Angela(Vince), and pre-deceased by his son John.
Loving Pappou of Alexander, Alyssa and Anthony.
Dear cousin of Alekka and Leland Thomas.
Sotiris will also be sadly missed by his many other relatives and friends both here and overseas.
Sotiris came to Canada in 1966 with his wife and young family. Once he was settled he showed his kindness by opening his home to fellow Cypriot immigrants so they too could establish themselves in the Toronto Cypriot Community. He was always there to lend a hand and his mechanical wizardry was appreciated by all. He will be deeply missed.
The family would like to thank the St. Michael’s Hospital Dialysis Unit for their care over the last 9 years.
Visitation will be held at the Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto on Wednesday January 29, 2020 from 4-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Irene Chrisovalantou Greek Orthodox Church, 66 Gough Ave, Toronto on Thursday January 30, 2020 at 11:30 am. Interment at Scarborough.
