DROPKIN, Sheila - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila Dropkin on August 3, 2020.
Daughter of the late Harry and Gussie Engelman. Predeceased by her brother Stanley (Lois ) Engelman.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur Dropkin. She will be missed by her daughter Gayle, son-in-law Alan. Adored Grandma to Tyler and Gillian.
Sheila Attended NYU to study journalism at the young age of 16. Her first job was at Mademoiselle Magazine. Sheila and Arthur moved to Canada in 1960 where she continued her career in journalism. Sheila later went on to be the Executive Director of The Canadian Shaare Zedec Hospital Foundation in Toronto for over 20 years.
She was a strong brilliant woman who lived life to the fullest. Mom, you will be missed!
