DUFFY, Leonard ‘Len’ - Mr. Len Duffy (aka Mr. D), of Weston, Ontario, passed away on Friday November 13, 2020, at the age of 78.
Len was born to parents Francis (Chalmers) and Robert Duffy on April 27, 1942 in Toronto, Ontario. He grew up in Bala Ontario as one of two children and graduated from Western Tech in Toronto.
In 1967, he married his one and only love, Nanci Varga of Toronto. Len and Nanci had three children, Timothy, Terence & David. He was proud grandpa of Dylan and William.
Len liked all sports, but his passion was hockey and spent many a Saturday night watching the Leafs. Animals were always part of the family, especially dogs and they followed him around knowing he always had a treat or two for them. More recently Len could be seen bootin' around the neighbourhood in his scooter.
Always in our hearts, rest in peace.
Arrangements entrusted with Ward funeral homes. There will be a private ceremony for immediate family only. When it is safer to do so, a public Memorial Service to Celebrate Len's Life will be held at later date.
