BUSSE, Brigitte Anna (Rapsch) - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brigitte Busse, who was in her 90th year, on November 14, 2020.
Brigitte was born in what was then known as Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Canada in 1956 with her husband, Gunter.
Together they created a beautiful family, a successful business, and an exciting life.
Brigitte had a great sense of adventure and loved travelling the world, meeting new people, and trying new things. The family cottage was another great love, with endless hours spent gardening, swimming, snowmobiling, hosting fantastic gatherings, and creating wonderful memories with her family and friends.
Brigitte was an authentic woman who wasn't afraid to speak her mind or do things seen as unconventional. She was incredibly independent, strong willed, and resourceful and was able to create her own place in this world.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Gunter and daughter Pamela. She will be deeply missed by her son Daniel (Susan), brother Karl-Heinz (Karin), grandchildren Michelle (Tamir), Jaclyn (Ravi), Amanda (Cole), Ryan, and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Eli, Riyah, Bohdi, as well as her extended family and dear friends.
Arrangements with Thompson funeral home, Aurora, Ontario. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the family will hold a private interment. A celebration of her life will occur at a later date.
