SHEA, Helena “Fay” (Wood) - Passed away at Scarborough General Hospital on February 22, 2021 at 89 years of age.
Known affectionately by so many as “Nanny”; she is survived by loving husband of 65 years, Gerry Shea.
Adored by her children: Dan (Cindy), Patrick (Janine), Judy (Rick), Glen, Tod (Katie) and Billy (Carrie).
Predeceased by daughter Sue Anne.
Dearly missed by grandchildren: Jennifer, Christine, Leanne, Michael, Jenna, Annie, Riley, Carly, Lindsay, Tyler and Jack and great-grandchildren: Freya, Ellie, Lochlan and Anna.
We are easily reminded of her favourite pastime of watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up. She was known, by all who had the privilege of getting to know her, as the kindest, most thoughtful, loving and generous of people.
A celebration of “Nanny’s” life will be arranged at a later date.
