NGUYEN, Thi Thu Uoc (nee TRAN) - Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare, on Friday, July 23, 2021, in her 81st year.
Beloved wife of Danh Tan Nguyen.
Loving mother of Tammy (Ira), Elsie (John) and Bob (Faith).
Devoted grandmother of Carissa and Rebecca Sy; Giuseppe, Sophia and Marco Dattilo; and Isabel and Evelyn Nguyen.
Thi immigrated to Canada with her husband and three children in 1975, following the end of the Vietnam War.
Previously a teacher and flight attendant in Vietnam, she retrained as a nurse in Canada and worked at the Riverdale Hospital – the predecessor to Bridgepoint.
Thi will be remembered for her strength and resilience and as a caring, inspiring, and devoted mother who nourished her family with boundless love and great home cooking.
Private family service will be held on August 1, 2021.
