MEHARRIE, Lynne Margaret (Newman) - It is with deep sadness that the family wishes to announce the passing of Lynne Meharrie (Newman) on Sunday January 23, 2022 at the age of 69, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Partner to Ron Handlesperger for over 30 years, dear mother to Tammy, Maxwell (Jennifer) and James. Proud Nanny of Taylor.
Lynne will be deeply missed by her sister, Judy Simpson and her children Will, Chris and Drew and their families. Predeceased by her brother Roy Newman. Lynne will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Fondly remembered by the staff at Westwood Arena, where she worked for so many years. Lynne was an amazing cook (always posting her latest creations), an avid reader and animal lover.
As per her wishes a private cremation will take place and a celebration of her life will be arranged at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with Ward funeral homes.
