GREEN, Eleanor "Grace" (nee DAWE) - October 18, 1932 - June 13, 2022
Passed away peacefully, in her 90th year, on Monday, June 13, 2022.
She was born in her beloved St. John's, Newfoundland and relocated at 17 to Toronto, Ontario.
Grace raised her family in Willowdale, and after 19 years with North York Hydro, she retired moving to Richmond Hill. She enjoyed condo living for 24 years before joining her daughter Wendy in Ottawa.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Helena (Lush) and Samuel; her dear brothers, Reginald and John; and her sisters Violet and Rosalind. She is survived by her daughters, Debra (Donald) Carey, and Wendy (Jon) Russell.
She was the proud grandmother of Tyler (Laurel) Carey; Rachel (Michael) McGrath; Ryan (Hannah) Balsdon; Rebecca (Thomas) Corrigan; and Rowan Russell.
The great-grandmother of Cooper and Quinn, Lucas and Grayden, Avery, Charlotte and Emalyn, Ella, Poppy and Maisie. Grace will be fondly remembered by her nephew David, and her nieces Lori and Miranda (Peter).
Upon arriving in Ottawa, Grace was a resident of the Stittsville Villa and then the Timberwalk Memory Floor in Kanata. Her family wish to thank all the staff who took such wonderful care of her the last 4 years.

A funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 20 Young Road, Kanata, Ontario, on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 1 p.m. Interment in York Cemetery will be held for the family at a later date.
